Journal of Henan Normal University(Natural Science Edition) is a comprehensive academic journal,which is approved by National Press and Publication Administration,and supervised and hosted by Henan Normal University. It is published after peer review(both blind), and open access.

Manuscript Requirements:

The main subjects of this journal include mathematics, physics, electronics, information science, chemistry, environmental science, life science, computer science, sports, etc. Detailed topics can be found on this website. Under the same quality conditions, the journal prefers to the papers  in which the first author is a professer and supported by National Funds. Papers with no fund support are rarely accepted. Teaching methods papers or reviews (except invited reviews) are not accepted .

Submission Methods:

Only online submissions through this website are accepted. You can write your paper or modify the format of your paper base on the paper template in the download center. These types of documents are allowed to upload:doc, docx,pdf and tex files. If you submit a tex file, please upload an original version  and a blind review version pdf files. The blind review version requires that  the information such as authorship, units, fund sources, should be exculded. The source files can be zipped and uploaded as an attachment.

Review and Publication Cycle:

The review period is 20-60 working days for external review. As soon as it passed the final approval, the article will be published online. If you need urgent formal publication, please contact the editor of your article after final approval.

Copyright:

The corresponding author should ensure that all authors have reviewed and agreed to the submitted manuscript, and there is no authorship dispute. After acceptance, all authors should sign a copyright transfer agreement to ensure that the Journal of Henan Normal University Editorial Department has the copyright of the article, including reproduction rights, distribution rights, communication rights, translation rights, and assembly rights. After publication, authors have the right to be listed as authors of the article.

Digital Archive & Online Accessibility:

Articles published in thie journal since 2015 have been digitally archived on the journal's official website(https://www.htu.edu.cn/nature/), through which readers can directly access the articles online,and all users are allowed to use this journal's articles under the CC BY-NC agreement (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0/) since 2023. All information and material are backed-up in the Editorial Office for security, including the print-copy and digital-copy of all issues, and all other relevant material (e.g., authors' additional information and forms submitted during submission).

In addition to our official website, readers can access the journal's articles online by visiting the database of CNKI, the journal's WeChat Official Account.

It is allowed for author to deposit all versions of his/her article in an institutional or other repository of the author's choice. However, it is necessary to indicate the article's publishing information in the metadata in the institutional or other repository and use that as a recommended way of citation.

Fees:

1.No review fee is required from the authoers.

2.The papers of authors who are invited or in Henan Normal University are free to be published; charges of high-quality papers will be reduced; for the rest, ￥300.00 per page will be required after typesetting.

3.According to the national regulations, authors and the reviewers will be paid by our department.
