Review Process:
Upon successful submission of a manuscript, the Editorial Office first conducts a preliminary review. Manuscripts lacking originality, containing serious scientific or technical flaws, lacking valuable information, or not conforming to the journal's scope will be rejected.
Manuscripts passing the preliminary review undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Typically, each manuscript is reviewed by two external reviewers for scientific soundness, coherence in language, potential duplication of published works, level of innovation, and suitability for publication. The editor will make objective and reasonable decisions based on the review reports submitted by the experts. If necessary, consultation with members of the editorial board will be conducted to reach a consensus.
Reviewers' comments (acceptance, rejection, or revision) will be sent to the author. Authors should respond to each comment and submit the revised manuscript in a timely manner. This process is repeated until the reviewers and editors are satisfied with the manuscripts.
After passing peer review, the manuscript is subjected to a final review by the Editor-in-Chief, who makes the final decision on acceptance, taking into account the reviewers' comments. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the entire content of the journal.
Review of Submissions by Editors/Editorial Board Members/Guest Editors:
Submissions by journal editors, Editorial Board Members, and Guest Editors must adhere to the same review and editorial procedures as other submissions. Peer reviews must be conducted independently of the related editors/Editorial Board Members/Guest Editors and their research groups. They shall not participate in the review of manuscripts written by themselves, their family members, colleagues, or other authors with whom they have a conflict of interest.
Plagiarism Check:
To prevent academic misconduct, such as plagiarism and multiple submissions, the Editorial Office conducts two rounds of similarity checks on manuscripts using CNKI's Literature Similarity Detection System during the initial review and after acceptance. This ensures the originality and integrity of the submitted work.
